Synopsis – Intervention

“Intervention” is a suspense thriller. In the vein of: “Fatal Attraction” but the wife is the fatal attraction for the husband. Intervention follows a naïve, devoted husband and his social climbing, socio-pathic wife, as the husband comes to grip with the fact that his wife wants to murder him so she can run off with a powerful Senator. The husband has to confront his core belief that marriage is “until death do you part”. He has to give up on his love for his wife to take back his life, defend himself and save the life of his daughter. The wife has the perfect plan to get a captivating mental patient, under her treatment, to kill her husband and be framed for the murder. The plan goes awry when the female mental patient is willing to kill, but has a moral code that forces her to only kill the bad guy. The mental patient struggles to figure out if she should kill the husband or wife. Now the wife, husband and mental patient must each challenge their own life choices and most core beliefs, while trying to figure out how to survive the coming conflict.
