Jun 2nd, 2008 | By PlotDog | Category: Intervention, Serialized ScreenplayINT. NEW BLACK BMW — EVENING
Dick stares out the window of the BMW. Dick and Jane are
dressed in their party best. Jane is driving aggressively.
JANE
It’s not just for me, Dick you can
find new clients for your company
and I can connect more firmly with
Senator Stewart. We can get you
government contracts for the
company. I will be huge.
DICK
Happy first anniversary; here’s a
new client. Hell, I already make
more money than we can spend.
JANE
It’s not the money. It’s moving
up, security, control.
DICK
I’m trying to be supportive, but it
is our anniversary and this job has
taken so much of you. Money,
power, position isn’t everything.
JANE
This is all about us, you, and me.
DICK
And kids, don’t forget kids.
JANE
Child, Dick. I don’t forget the
child. You never let me forget.
They pull into the drive of a private residence big enough to
be a small town. The party-goers stroll manicured paths to
tents festooned with lights.
JANE (CONT’D)
Behave and the night goes well, for
both of us.
