Intervention – Scene 20
Sep 10th, 2008 | By PlotDog | Category: Intervention, Serialized Screenplay
INT. DICK AND JANE BEDROOM AT HOME — THAT SAME NIGHT
Jane leads Dick into the bedroom, she’s wearing the same
clothes she was wearing with the Senator. She begins to
undress.
JANE
Talk to me while I shower.
DICK
Uhmmm…ok. Would you like a bath?
I’ll pour it.
INT. BATHROOM SHOWER — MOMENTS LATER
Jane starts the shower and steam rolls out. Dick looks very
confused, as if somehow a man shouldn’t watch his wife.
JANE
I had a hard day with Senator
Stewart today. He thinks I am a
risk, but I need him to stay on my
career track.
Dick follows uncertainly.
DICK
You saw him today?
Jane carefully undresses, her panties are just off color from
her bra. She tosses the panties into the hamper and steps
into the hot shower.
JANE
The Senator told me I needed to be
very grateful to you for protecting
me with the police and the Judge.
DICK
I didn’t want you to get treatment.
JANE
It wasn’t you. You were a very
stand up husband.
DICK
Thanks, you know, for noticing.
JANE
I notice everything.
DICK
Really?
Jane steps out of the shower naked and it’s like it is alien
for her to approach Dick. He is surprised.
JANE
Thank you for protecting our
future, I mean me. Now take me to
bed.

After the tryst with the Senator, I’m surprised that Jane still had energy to share with her hubby. And Dick, he should have been more active and joined her in the shower if he was ready for some action rather than waiting for her to ask him to take her to bed. If I were in Jane’s shoes, I’d like to be pursued than to be the pursuer. But that’s just me. Jane appears to be the one who runs the show all the time. Doesn’t she? Oh, was she really sincere when she thanked Dick? From what I’ve read so far, I don’t trust whatever she says. She’s a calculated and a schemer woman.
Be looking to the next one.
tashabuds last blog post..23. The Hot Tub and The Keeper of the Stars
Tashabud, Jane has the energy to do anything needed to meet her nefarious goals. In the end, quiet strength matters though I think. It is the men or women who are less obvious in their strength that are the most impressive, but then we will see where the story goes
