Feb 18th, 2009 | By PlotDog | Category: Intervention, Serialized Screenplay
INT. JANE'S OFFICE -- DAY
Renovations are extensive and bang along outside the office
window.
JANE
I need help, Sara needs you too.
He has started to get physical.
Alex blows smoke back at Jane.
ALEX
What does started mean?
Jane tears up and searches for a pack of smokes in her
desk. Alex passes her pack over. Jane holds a cigarette.
JANE
This stays in this office, ok?
Alex leans forward, and lights Jane's cigarette.
ALEX
Go on.
JANE
I won't get into character
assassination. I am worried that
Dick will get more violent soon.
ALEX
I am not sure how I can help,
especially being in here.
JANE
I can take care of that. What do
you need to help me?
ALEX
A safe place, a new name.
JANE
You want out of the program?
ALEX
No, out of the facility. An
apartment, a job. Something
reasonable, cash. A cell phone.
JANE
Senator Stewart can arrange
anything, but you can't start a
job until this is fixed. I trust
you. Oddly enough, you are the
most stable one in the facility.
ALEX
Now, that's funny. What's my
part?
JANE
Watch him. See what he is doing,
and be there when I take Sara out
of the house. Cover my back.
ALEX
And if it gets....out of control?
Jane offers Alex a cigarette. Alex accepts.

I can’t wait for the next segment. I wonder if Alex believes Jane’s story.
