An Interview with “THE FACE OF DEATH” Author Cody McFadyen

Aug 26th, 2008 | By User ImagePlotDog | Category: Book Tour, Guest Author Post, Writer's Life

Plotdog Press is jealous and envious to be a stop on  Cody McFadyen’s, The Face of Death book tour, brought to you by PUMP UP YOUR BOOK PROMOTION VIRTUAL BOOK TOURS
This might be a good time for you to ask why jealous and envious? I am not an easy reader to get to try a new author, but when I am out of my favorites I will read into a new author just to see what might be out there.  As a reader I tend towards thrillers and suspense so my eyes usually head right for those novels on the shelves or tables.  While I see myself as a writer after my book and screenplays, I am more than ever a fan of authors.  I hope that never changes.  When I wander into my favorite book stores, I literally stroll, allowing my eyes to catch covers and titles that strike me as interesting.

An Interview with “Life After College: What Your Parents and Professors Never Taught You” Author ChaChanna Simpson

Aug 15th, 2008 | By User ImagePlotDog | Category: Book Tour, Guest Author Post

Being the youngest member of my family I remember being a kid, thinking, the older kids in school must know all the answers. Once I got into school, it was the high school kids, then the college age kids, and when I was in college, it felt like the diploma must come with some magic tome that would explain the real world. It didn’t come in the diploma or even during the discussions I had with friends in the same situation. Now, that magic tome is here.

Introducing “Read Well, Think Well” Author Hal W. Lanse, Ph.D.

Aug 12th, 2008 | By User ImagePlotDog | Category: Book Tour, Guest Author Post

While PlotDog Press tends to focus on fiction, we enjoy and support both fiction and non-fiction writing.  Each type of writing has it own challenges, rewards and readership.  One of the difficult things to writing non-fiction is finding an area of specialization where your market is in need of your expertise and where your experience is representative of the problems that readers will need answered.  Author Hal W. Lanse is a writer who fits the definition of finding a significant problem and coming forward with innovative information that will assist parents and children at literacy risk.

An interview with Left to Die author Lisa Jackson with an excerpt from the book.

“Lisa Jackson can’t keep away from murderers, especially serial killers.  She’s been killing people everywhere from Savannah and New Orleans to San Francisco and the Pacific Northwest—and it’s been worth it.  Her readers come back again and again, and her novels are fixtures on national bestseller lists. In fact, her book Fatal Burn was a number one New York Times paperback bestseller, and the first two of her novels to be published in hardcover, Shiver and Absolute Fear, were in the top five on the New York Times Best Sellers list.
